Forest Service is holding another hearing!

This hearing isn't directly related toward our rights to access to our favorite hunting grounds.

The Forest Service is in the process of looking at how they do things.
Was informed by BRC via email 3/26/10. Here is a link to the contents of that email

The Forest Service meeting was interesting. There are several things I hope they take back with they and. put in the next planning rules. One give local districts more control over their decision process. This. may speed up their response time when problems occur, ie Pine Beatles infestation or Fire issues.

Secondly using SWAG to formulate your plans just don't cut it. They need to have more in the field time collecting real data vrs office time and guessing.

Thirdly equal weight should be given to economic and recreational interest vrs environmental impact.

The next meeting will be a web cast as soon as I get home I'll dig that out and post it.

From Railroad butes happy hunting.
